they are also known as network marketing. its basically signing up your friends in a pyramid (although i guess you pretend you sell stuff to disguise it) and eventually as long as you are not the last one holding the bag you can make some money.

I am considering it but don’t want to go to hell for screwing my common man. I am wondering what everyone else thinks.

Is the MLM industry a growing or declining industry and what real evidence is there to support either view?

Thanks for the opinions thus far, but I guess what I was getting at was whether anyone had any actual facts that could be verified. For instance, I can do some basic research and determine which direction the auto industry, the tech industry,the movie industry are all going. But I have never seen any actual evidence than implied on the growing or decline MLM industry. Maybe there is none out there, and if so, oh well. Just wondering if anyone has any evidence.
