How can I say no to an invite to join or buy MLM products?
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010My boss recently joins a MLM company (Multi-level Marketing) and he has sent me emails asking me to buy their products. I’m not interested but not sure how to respond to the emails. To make it worst, we have to see each other everyday at work. So it’s been quite awewark for the past few days.
How should I go about turning down his invite? I really don’t want to lose my job over this issue at all

Why do people in MLM say its a business, but when asking for their numbers compare it to a paycheck?
Monday, November 24th, 2008Don’t these people realize a paycheck is for a job, and revenue/expenses is for a business? People in MLM tell you its a business until you ask for their numbers, and then its a job and private. I would not ask for their information if they were hiring me for a job, but trying to sign me up for their business those numbers should be expected. Is this just yet another component that makes MLM a joke?

Why should MLM and chain letter concepts be declared illegal in India?
Thursday, November 13th, 2008How is “If you get four more people to join this pyramid scheme you get this free” type of Amway thing wrong and baseless in the first place?
a) It is not your job nor should you be expected to “convert” or “procure” other people. You cannot interfere in another peoples affairs unless you have provided them a non-repudiable benefit to them that they would not have got, had it not been for you.
b) You should only be expected to do something that you are capable of, and that can be done by you independently without needing anyone else. If you are to do something then there must have already have been a benefit transferred to you in cash or kind that you would not have got otherwise.
Since MLM and chain letter concepts violate these two basic economic principles. They should be banned. So Amway must be banned.
How many people concur?

What is the best work from home company? No MLM’s, advertising, thanks?
Monday, August 6th, 2007Do you actually know someone who is making REAL money in MLM and which one?
Monday, July 30th, 2007I met a guy back in 1989 who promised me I could be a millionare in 5 years with hard work in MLM. He’d said that the motivacional conventions, books and tapes were an investment. The company do not endorsed the tapes, but the people at the top positions says that you didn’t exist as a business owner if you didn’t buy the motivacional packages. Back in 1999, after 35 years, that company changed his name to an e-mail only distributor and my friend quit. He tried to offer me to enter “again” back in 2003. Actually he owns a mens only clothes store in his mother’s pharmacy garage. I’d met millionaries from differents backgrouds,
in and out of MLM, and all say that you could be the next millionare doing the same job as the did. Do they are true or just a rip-off?
